NLCS Hong Kong is seeking to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic and committed Vice Principal (Senior School) to join the founding team as the school prepares to welcome its first pupils in August 2027.

This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in establishing a new member of the world-renowned NLCS family of schools. Successful candidates will contribute not only to the delivery of an exceptional educational experience but also to the development of the school's culture, traditions and community from its earliest stages.

This full-time, fixed-term position is offered for up to three years. During the pre-opening phase, the role will include supporting key school development activities such as admissions, pupil recruitment, community engagement and the establishment of school systems and procedures. Following the school's opening, the focus will transition to leadership, teaching and pastoral responsibilities within the School, while pre-opening duties will reduce as the school moves into full operation.

NLCS Hong Kong

North London Collegiate School Hong Kong will open in August 2027 to students in Kowloon. Our Senior School will open on Hong Kong Island. Both campuses will be co-educational day schools, with our junior campus accommodating up to 500 students, and the senior campus accommodating approximately the same. Students from KG to Grade 5 will follow a bespoke curriculum (based on the English National curriculum with local adaptations and elements of PYP). Learning in the Senior School will culminate in students completing the IB Diploma Programme.

Founded in partnership with HOEH Limited, NLCS Hong Kong will be committed to providing an exceptional academic education within a welcoming and supportive community, in keeping with the aspirational ethos of NLCS (UK). Our holistic approach to education based on our core values helps foster well-rounded individuals. Our mission will be to help every student discover their passion and strive to make a meaningful impact globally.

Our rigorous programme is designed to challenge and expand children’s horizons. With dedicated teaching staff, passionate about guiding and inspiring pupils in their subjects, we encourage young people to be curious, creative, and adaptable thinkers, and support them in becoming independent and self-driven scholars.

At NLCS Hong Kong, we will honour the educational heritage of our founding school in London, whilst embracing core Chinese values and philosophy that emphasise community, respect and courtesy. With a global outlook, we will nurture an appreciation for diverse perspectives, all whilst preserving the essence of Chinese culture and heritage.
